Project Details
This project included a 2,200m² extension to the existing emergency
department and a 2,400m² extension to the delivery suite / maternity
and operating theatre department.
Included in the emergency department
extension was the provision of 10 major
treatment cubicles, 4 minor treatment cubicles,
resuscitation room, isolation/gynaecology/
paediatric multi-function rooms, minor ops room
and other ancilliary accommodation. Included in
the delivery suite extension was 6 new birthing
rooms, self-contained operating suite, with the
appropriate level of reception and recovery
places.
